Movie Synopsis

Jack is not his real name. He is really an ex-convict who spent 14 years of his life institutionalized for the brutal murder of a young girl. Now released, at 24 years old he must make himself a new identity and try to rid himself of his past. His parole officer Terry helps him do so, believing that Jack deserves a second chance.

Although Jack struggles, he is able to make new friends and even find a girlfriend. Terry becomes a father-like figure to him. People are drawn to his kind personality. It seems that his life may be taking a turn for the better. However, Jack is constantly torn between concealing his past, or revealing his crime in hopes of being pardoned.

Although Jack bears no resemblance to the younger Boy A, the public is unable to forgive Boy A for his heinous crime. The crime and trial are covered in the news daily, and it seems that Jack will never be able to escape his past. Terry's son won't allow Jack to escape his past.
